After Everton's 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion, David Moyes showed that he does indeed have a sense of humour with a quote about his star left-back Leighton Baines, who scored both goals. Something to the extent of 'he's a great footballer, very intelligent and always trying to improve. Apart from his style of hairdo, he's alright'.
Now that got me laughing. You see, Baines is also quite an interesting character, and has since last season I believe, got a Beatles-style, retro-type shaggy hairdo in the vein of Ringo Starr and John Lennon. I was a bit septical at first, thinking it didn't quite suit him, but the more you look at it, the more it looks fitting. What do you think?
