On 4 Apr 13, the group of My Paper Executive Finalists decided to
meet up for the first time without having any prior-set workshop on that
day, which signifies our increasing bonded-ness. It was a fun nite; we
had dinner at Ichiban Boshi at Centrepoint first, followed by drinks at
Five at Cuppage Road. We shared about what we had been doing at work as
well as what we had been writing on these blogs!
We then went to Five for some drinks and ‘live’ music. After downing
some ‘liquid courage’, I took my customary voyeur to the stage to sing ‘Someone Like You‘ by Adele. After that, Mark and me did a rendition of ‘I’ll Be There For You‘
by Bon Jovi. Nice to see the crowd really get into it for our songs,
and of course thanks to all my fellow contestants for providing that
all-important moral support!
We also found time to mess around with this Carlsberg machine that
takes a photo of you and can instantly send it to the Carlsberg Facebook
account as well as to three e-mail accounts of your pleasing. It was
quite hilarious as we took turns to squeeze 10 people into that limited
screen and also cater different poses like smiling, serious and all
things in-between.
