Just watched the highly-anticipated 'Joker'... a quite-fascinating look at the background, intricacies and circumstances that gave rise to the well-known villain in the Batman series... overall, I would say it is a good show... taut & gripping at times; giving a very in-depth look at how the Joker develops from a mentally-ill failed stand-up comic into a murderous, deranged killer...
I've always been a fan of Joaquin Phoenix... and I think he is the perfect guy to play Joker... that super-skinny physique for this show, that look and especially the eyes... he basically looks quite deranged anyway if you know what I mean... he has also developed as an excellent actor and it comes out clear in this show... also a shout-out to Robert de Niro; who turns in a typically-excellent performance as the talk-show host Murray Franklin...
3 more shows that I'm really looking forward to seeing in the near future... Charlie's Angels; Terminator; Midway (wow I remember watching that TV movie like 30 years ago lol)...
