It was sweet revenge this time round for the Los Angeles Clippers. Having lost bitterly to the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center just recently, they were back home this time; and determined to even the score against their fellow Western Conference NBA championship contender.
In a Playoffs-style contest; both teams gave as good as they got; and as this match went down towards a thrilling climax; it really had the feel of a Western Conference Finals match-up. James Harden was again unstoppable in this one; hitting a variety of shots; including two potential four-point plays.
In the end, it was Kawhi Leonard who hit the tough mid-range jumper over PJ Tucker to clinch the game for the home team; with Russell Westbrook surprisingly going for a three-pointer to try and win the game for the Rockets.
