Let's be clear: this was a great win for the Los Angeles Clippers. Against a top team in the Eastern Conference with a good record; at home; without four of your key players in Kawhi Leonard; Landry Shamet; JaMychal Green and Rodney McGruder.
It was never an easy game for the visitors. Even when it looked like it was gonna be wrapped up with a 20-plus point lead in the second half; the Pacers never gave up and actually made it quite nerve-wrecking in the closing stages. But this game really belonged to Paul George; returning to where it all began for him. The Clippers star put up a sensational shooting performance; connecting on seven three-pointers to propel his team to victory. He was ably supported by another sterling bench effort from Montrezl Harrell; who repeated the trick from his previous game; bamboozling his defender along the baseline with another cross-over and rim-shaking effort.
