Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood is another very good film... a classic Quentin Tarantino flick with that offbeat charm; that stellar ensemble cast... and of course that gruesome ending that is very Tarantino-like lol...
This story is a pretty charmer itself... about Hollwood star Rick Dalton who is reaching 'veteran' status and starts to question his seemingly declining career (showing film stars do have bad moments too). He is supported by his good friend and stunt double Cliff Booth; who is affectionate in his support even though playing second-fiddle; and a seasoned World War II veteran at that.
They go through an adventure of ups and downs; including Booth rather bizarrely meeting up with a young hippie that he falls for... only leading to a rather unpleasant episode when he discovers that a group of murderous hippies are actually living off the wealth of a former legend (maybe mimicking what in real life)...
This movie is another one that you would think about even days after watching it. And it boasts a stellar cast; from the two heavyweight leads of Leonardo DiCaprio & Brad Pitt... to Margot Robbie and even a young Roman Polanski and Bruce Lee lol... plus Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning and even Luke Perry before he died...
The moments of tension build up tremendously and are unforgettable in this show. Brad Pitt also puts in the best performance of his career and rightfully finally wins the Best Supporting Actor after all these years...
