Sitton Ducks

I read an interesting FourFourTwo article recently about legendary Leyton Orient manager John Sitton; a former professional player who had a decent coaching record till then. He was known for his 'passionate' style and was one of the rare managers featured in a fly-by-the-wall documentary entitled 'Orient: Club for a Fiver' (this was before the times of 'Sunderland 'Til I Die').

On one 1995 league match against Blackpool; Sitton erupted in a cataclysmic war of words in the half-time dressing room that would have made Alex Ferguson's hair-dryer treatment seem like a pack of fries (you can watch the video on YouTube). It was indeed a shocking tirade from an embattled manager the likes you've probably never seen before. In a particularly tumultuous period for the club; they went on lose that match 1-0 (maybe not surprisingly) and had a particularly horrific season; ending up bottom of the league and with both joint-managers sacked.
