I watched the brand-new Michelle Obama documentary 'Becoming' on Netflix and while it is a decent documentary showcasing her life & character; I feel it could have done a bit more. It does bring to surface her character that not many people may know: her feistiness; intelligence and even how she got on with Barack back in their earlier days. The thing that touches me about her is her absolute sincerity when she talks and deals with people; like you really feel inspired after speaking to her for five minutes. However; overall, the show does leave you with the feeling of providing nothing much from what you already knew. The global talk-shows and meet-the-children sessions are all well & good; however; they provide the show with a content that is a little too superficial and superfluous; when greater depth & richness would have been better.
