Life In Plastic, It's Fan-tastic

So there is slightly better news coming on the horizon that some of the football leagues such as Bundesliga are considering re-opening sometime this month. For some of them; training has already re-started; whether individually or in small groups. But the matches will have to be played behind closed-doors for the moment for safety purposes. Some countries have rather 'ingeniously' suggested having cardboard stand-outs of  fans on the terraces to 're-create' the carnival atmosphere and motivate the players as per usual; with countries such as South Korea planning 'banners of fans' in the terraces to simulate the fan fervor. Hmm not too sure about that to be honest...

However, I have watched some football matches on TV played behind closed doors. How is it like? I would say really not much difference at all to the real thing. For one thing; the play is just as exciting and there's no let-up in terms of pace & intensity. Heck you can even hear what the players are communicating to one another; the agitation from the coaches and the 'unique' player reactions when they score a goal, etc.
