The Sound of Silence
With no fans allowed in stadiums; home advantage has truly gone out the window; with an astounding only 3 of the 22 games played after the resumption of Bundesliga from the coronavirus pandemic; won by the home team.
And nowhere was this more evident in the recent match between Champions League-contenders Bayer Leverkusen & VFL Wolfsburg; when the in-form home team were surprisingly hammered 4-1 by their Europa League-chasing counterparts at an empty BayArena.
