Video Killed The Radio Star

Which is the best music video you have ever seen? For me, Bon Jovi's stylo-milo, uber-cool 'It's My Life' takes the cake over the cartoon-inspired, hot-favourite 'Take On Me' by a-ha and the intense, gothic-inspired 'Going Under' by Evanescence.

For 'It's My Life'; it's just a super-cool production by a super-cool band and you get riveted following the young boy's rip-roaring adventures as he sneaks out of his house and hitches a ride towards the underground concert of his favourite band.

For 'Take On Me'; it is just a surreal fantasy video way ahead of its time (it looks good even now); as you follow the 'heart-breaking' story of Morten Harket as he finds the love of his life and 'absorbs' her into his fantasy world...

For 'Going Under'; it's the sheer intensity of Amy Lee & gang as they rock their way in a ghoul-infested concert; with the lead singer looking splendid with her slicked-back hair and awesome make-up; and the memorable scene of her diving into the crowd and seemingly Going Under water.

Special mention to Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'By The Way'; an awesome & hilarious video showing lead singer Anthony Kiedis being 'car-napped' by an over-frivolous and eccentric cab driver; with his band-mates coming to a furious rescue later... excellent stuff haha
