Chelsea's reported signing of Bundesliga hot-shot Timo Werner coud be a game-changer. One of the hottest properties in the world; Werner has been setting the stage alight with his scintillating performances for RB Leipzig; a team that has excelled both domestically and on the European stage; having upset Tottenham Hotspur to get into the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

His movement is good; his awareness his good; his finishing supreme. Favoring the left-sided attacking option of a front three; he plays an Inverted Winger role and likes to cut inside to deliver with his right foot. I'm quite surprised Liverpool were reportedly not interested in him; as I thought he would be a good addition to their front-line. When you add his signing to that of 37mil pound-capture Hakim Ziyech from Ajax; you gotta say Chelsea could well be championship contenders next season.
