U see whether it was Robbie Brady's outstanding shot with his RIGHT foot; another iconic goal from man-of-the-moment Dominic Calvert-Lewin; or the recent uptick in Burnley's fortunes and the continued sub-par showings of Everton; today seemed to be about the 'keepers.
Nick Pope made good saves from James Rodriguez's wonderful left-foot curler; and probably out-did that with a sensational last-ditch save with his feet from substitute Gylfi Sigurdsson's effort. Jordan Pickford was not to be out-done too. In the first half; he made a stupendous dash-out & save from Chris Wood; and in the second half he reacted sharply to save the same player's header from a corner.
In the end; both teams would probably be decent with a point. Burnley can see their effort and organisation improving after a nervy start to the season; whilst for Everton; it is a welcome point after a series of disappointing defeats.
