Grizzlies Show Bite

The Los Angeles Clippers; opening their home court for this season; were expecting a grand win against the underdog Memphis Grizzlies. No one told the Grizzlies; however; who produced an excellent performance to stun the title favourites at Staples Center.

Led again by third-year sensation Ja Morant; the Grizzlies got a balanced offensive workload from guard De'Anthony Melton; forward Jaren Jackson Jr & reliable big man Steven Adams. In the end; they showed that they are not going anywhere in this league with a strong comeback & assured finish.

The Clippers; hamstrung again by the absence of Kawhi Leonard; relied on another superhuman performance from fellow All-Star Paul George; and early signs do indicate that point guard Eric Bledsoe is gonna be a good fit on this team; without Patrick Beverley. Bledsoe in fact came up with the highlight of the game; soaring to block Grizzlies center Adams' shot in a remarkable play.

In the end; it was power forward Jackson Jr.'s long three-pointer that sealed a fascinating contest. Even though Paul George is in great form right now; it remains to be seen how long he can tahan the load in Leonard's continued absence.
