The Golden State Warriors; coming off a stunning opening night upset of the favourite Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center; came back home to continue their stellar start with another upset over the other Los Angeles team; the title contenders Clippers.
Powering ahead in the first half behind a rocket start by superstar & MVP-contender Stephen Curry; they saw their huge lead evaporate as the Clippers mounted their own seismic revival; powered by the hot shooting of All-Star Paul George and some tough play from newcomer Eric Bledsoe.
When it came to the crunch tough; the Warriors did just enough to see off the surging Clippers; holding them to a crucial late stalemate and scoring some crucial points behind the late play of Damion Lee and the sharp-shooting play of Curry.
It is early days; but it looks like the revival of the former dynasty Golden State Warriors; may be coming back in town.
