The visitors have may have taken the lead through impressive midfielder Cody Gakpo; but I thought their changes after half-tine only served to de-stabilise the team; with influential striker Eran Zahavi strangely taken off for defender Armando Obispo and left-back Philipp Max substituted for Jordan Teze; and shifting the previously-influential Gakpo up top.
Sure enough; the Eagles managed to gain a grip on proceedings and in the 55th minute; their lively winger Inigo Cordoba; who already went close in the first half; equalised with an exquisite shot from a seemingly-impossible angle; to the delight of their partisan fans.
The match looked to be heading for an unlikely draw; before PSV managed to summon their resources and score the winner barely four minutes from the end; with former Chelsea youngster Marco van Ginkel heading home from Gakpo's well-taken corner. They could have well breathed a huge sigh of relief.
