Throughout the show; Bullock tries desperately to re-unite with her long-lost sister; even though her newly adopted family & circumstances feel it is better not to let her meet with a "convicted murderer". Adding to the plot is the victim's sons; who are out looking for her for revenge. While the plot background is rather decent; and Bullock turns in a dishevelled; convincing performance; the show is troubled by its rather complicated and unrealistic storyline. It leaves an ultimate sense of being less than it could have been; together with a rather contrived ending.

Forgiven Not Forgotten
Far from her Speed prime; Sandra Bullock gives a grim & realistic performance as an ex-convict wrongly charged of murder; to protect her young sister. In a way; she is emblematic of the troubles convicted people have of being accepted in society; and trying to re-build their lives. Try as she might; people still have a certain perception of her that is tough to erase. The fact that she did it to protect her sister just adds to the wrongfulness & intrigue.
