Never Dying Support

Netflix of course; is home to many superb sports documentaries; such as the incessant 'Maradona In Mexico'; the breathtaking Michael Jordan-led 'The Last Dance'; and the epic 'Malice At The Palace'; detailing the infamous Ron Artest-inspired battle royale at Detroit.

And one that definitely deserves mention is 'Sunderland 'Til I Die'; a fly-on-the-wall; in-depth documentary series about Sunderland's spirited; yet ultimately deflating attempt at reviving past glories & ascent back to the Premiership.

Like a horror story gone real; their attempt at getting back to the Premiership actually goes in the other direction; with them lurching from failure to failure and looking to go deeper in the abyss. It provides an advosorial; yet tantalizing tale about what can go wrong at the life of a football club.

This series also goes behind-the-scenes; as such you get a feel of the inner workings of how a football club is run; from managerial decisions; to dressing-room team-talks to player signings. There are also insider stories on how ex-Everton starlet Jack Rodwell served to hamstring the club in terms of financial woes; and the emergence of some potential young talent such as Josh Maja.
