But is she really the GOAT? How about Steffi Graf? Both were certainly the dominant players of their generation; becoming so good as to reach GOAT level. While Graf played more with precision; Williams played more with power. I actually shade towards Graf. I just think she was more 'untouchable' than Williams was lol. Her iconic strokes such as power forehand and slice backhand will live long in the memory. And she also had that Golden Slam in 1988 which will probably never be repeated. Or maybe I'm just biased with that 80s sense of nostalgia... lol
Shy, Reserved, Demure.... I'm afraid I'm none of these things. This blog aims to share my personal philosophies, musings and principles of happenings, events & bizzarios around the world, as well as inculcating some of my personal, valued insights into the four passions of my life: reading, sports, music & movies. All in all, it aims to educate and showcase to everyone this beautiful thing called LIFE. Enjoy... and try not to get blown away...

Holding Court
So Serena Williams has just announced her retirement from the tennis stage. I guez it has been coming... her form has been dropping and dropping and she is hardly in any matches recently also... she has made a few Grand Slam finals in recent years but always fell short... I guess it is quite sad she will never ever match Margaret Court's record of 24 Grand Slam singles titles... she was probably thinking too much of the record; that's why she couldn't get it done...
