Taylor Made

Never before has a concert been so widely anticipated. Taylor Swift has managed to do something that The Beatles; Elvis Presley & Michael Jackson could not. She stopped the world moving. In countries all over the world; the same scene was repeating. Everyone seemed to stop what they are doing; and focused only on one thing: getting tickers to her concert. In this vein; can she be considered the biggest star in history?

It all seemed rather innocuous when 'Teardrops On My Guitar' first came out. There was some speculation that she was gong to be something big; but no sure confirmation that she would be the biggest star on the planet. But when the 'Fearless' album came out; here was some signs that she was something special. Almost every song on that album was good; and you just don't get that much nowadays. When 'Speak Now' came out; it kind of cemented her place as a pop legend; as the whole world was enraptured in her songs; becoming what I call the Goddess of Songs as compared to Jacky Cheung.

She also showed her perseverance; overcoming some obstacles such as the Kanye slight; a less-than-phenomenal Netflix documentary 'Miss Americana'; some failed relationships and of course her huge song-writing conundrum that saw her having to re-record almost all her songs to get the rights back. At the end of the day; it is her life-changing songs such as 'Back To December'; 'You're Not Sorry' & 'Enchanted' coupled with her wistful lyrics; that make her the mega-star she is today.
