Bourne Again

Everton's season took a turn for the better with a comprehensive 3-0 demolition job on hapless Bournemouth at Goodison Park. The visitors were dodgy playing out from the back; and it played right into the hands of Everton; who were themselves lacking in confidence and looking for anything easy on the press.

Overall; it was a performance of pride and passion; as the Goodison side overwhelmed Andoni Iraola's visitors; with Dominic Calvert-Lewin back to this spirited best and the midfield combo of James Garner & Amadou Onana controlling proceedings in the centre of the park. Truth be told; Everton's form this season has been pretty good barring the results; and you sensed that when things came good they would really deliver a whipping; as was the case today.

For Bournemouth; I must say they are looking dead favorites for relegation. Gone are 'The Bournemouth Identity' days when they could always be relied upon for trusty footwork and reliable distribution. When your best players are a lacking Philip Billing and a fading Dominic Solanke; you are a team in trouble.
