The plot revolves around a renowned gangster hitman; who upon finding out he has only months to live; decides to go for it all & become the most-wanted criminal in Taiwan; being disappointed that he was only ranked third lol.
With that premise; we have a rather unique situation of the bad going after the badder; and it makes for some hard-hitting action even in the olden gangster genre. A plus point for the show is the excellent performance of main star Ethan Juan; who plays the tortured protagonist with aplomb; as well as the other two gangsters who are ah beng & convincing enough.
What doesn't quite work well though; is the plot doesn't seem quite developed enough; leaving a taste of 'it could have been more'; as well as the strange under-development of certain roles such as the policeman & Gingle Wang. There is a certain lack of style to the overall proceedings that could have really made this into a hit.
