And Fulham started exactly how they have been all season: full of poise & panache; everyone knowing what to do; playing as a team; pressing brilliantly. It was with the run of play that they took the lead; with former Everton reject Alex Iwobi adding another bow to his so-far solid season. It was he who screwed up a few sequences just moments before; but before you knew it; he had stepped up to drill an unstoppable left-foot shot into the side netting.
Things wee looking bleak for Chelsea. This was another horror show that has happened too often for them this season. From a team looking like they could challenge for the title; they have fallen way off; symbolized by the drastic drop in form of their stars such as Cole Palmer & Jadon Sancho.
Credit though to the manager; he made the right switches at half-time. With Malo Gusto & Sancho coming on for their inept right-wing of captain Reece James & Noni Madueke; and with an upturn in energy; it allowed Chelsea to wrest back control of the match.
Things got even better for them when youngster Tyrique George slotted home an opportunistic finish; before Pedro Neto delivered an even better volley deep into stoppage time; to turn this game completely on its head.
