They are clearly the better team; as evidenced by their comprehensive 2-0 victory over previous favorites France. They seem to execute a controlled composure over the game; as befits their DNA and their academy principles of talent. patience and possession.
Argentina have been somewhat lucky over the past 4 rounds; requiring a near superhuman effort against Cape Verde; 3 fantastical goals in 11 minutes against Egypt; extra-time brilliance against Switzerland and yet another last-ditch effort against England. Surely that luck has to run out some time. With Messi and their passionate team; you can't quite count them out. But I just have this feeling that Spain will have too much for them.
