I feel like talking about many things today.... so where should I start? OK let's talk about techno music, which I simply adore. I know some people find it a bit cheesy or childish or whatever, but I just LOVE it... especially the catchy ones, may I add.
Some of my all-time favourites are 'Forever In Love' by Sylver (great name), 'Something' by Lasgo and the brilliant 'God Is A Girl (Chillout Version)' by Groove Coverage. But of all the techno pop in the world I've listened to, surely none can rival who I think is the undisputed Queen of techno-pop, Cascada.
Unknown to many, German group Cascada is actually a three-member band and not just a single female singer, Natalie Horler. However, Horler features on most of their CD and marketing material, and is their lead singer. Their prolific-ness is unquestionable, with a whole slew of hits such as 'Who Do You Think You Are?', 'What Hurts The Most' and 'Evacuate The Dancefloor'. In fact, they're so good that even their non-singles are very good indeed. Really catchy stuff that makes me want to rock and head-bang while I'm listening in my car (fortunately never too vigorously).
