The 55 Million Pound Man

So Tottenham Hotspur have placed a 55 million pound value on star player Gareth Bale. To be frank, I think that's an honest assessment. If Cristiano Ronaldo is worth 80 million, Bale is definitely worth 55. In terms of raw talent and game-changing ability, there are few in the world better at this moment than Bale. At his youthful age (still only 23), with his dynamic left-wing runs and seemingly-inexhaustible stamina, Bale has been a key component in Spurs' recent rise up the BPL ranks. He is also one of the pre-eminent players in terms of striking fear in opponents' hearts, and he does it on a relatively consistent basis.
