So what's today's blog headline mean? Well, it's a way of saying 'persuading the already-converted'. I thought it was an excellent line used by my boss at our meeting today. Sounds cool and humorous, and I was trying to suppress a bit of laughter there. Which leads me to what I want to say about my boss. I couldn't have asked for a better boss, I must say. He's someone who is decisive when he needs to be, he doesn't micro-manage, he empowers you to make the decisions and leaves you to create your own designs, he's easy-going, friendly, laid-back and very funny. Meaning, he doesn't stifle your style and actually enhances it with encouragement and guidance. And I'm not saying all this to get a higher Performance Bonus (haha). I mean, I've had a lot of good bosses in my career, but he definitely tops the lot. He also has great values which I respect and admire. I've also learnt and picked up a thing or two from him about talking and generally treating people in the right way. And I can talk about EPL to him any time of the day (he knows almost as much about Everton as he does his beloved Liverpool). Great stuff.
