Far East Movement

Just heard that Everton are looking to bring in Japanese superstar Keisuke Honda. If it does  materialise, it would be a fantastic coup for Everton. Honda is probably the best player in Japan right now - better than Shinji Kagawa - so getting him would be a major step upwards for the Toffemen.

I've seen him play a number of times for Japan and what strikes me about him is his good engine, his technical skill on the ball and his combative tenacity. It's a pretty potent mix for an attacking midfielder and I can see him fitting right in to the Everton starting line-up for the Premiership. Will Marouane Fellaini be leaving Goodison? Well, ever since his insipid performance against Wigan, I've got a feeling that he will leave. But let's see what happens.
