Feels Like Heaven

Today, I received the call that changed my life. This must be the happiest day of my life. I received the call that told me I got into the Grand Finals of the My Paper Executive: Corporate Square-Off 2013 competition!!! I was so happy I almost couldn't believe it. It felt like a dream; except this was real. The call I've been waiting for. I thought my chance had gone, I thought I would be just one of those also-rans who thought he'd have a chance, but actually didn't....

I had gone for the auditions last Saturday at the Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Auditorium at Toa Payoh. I understand there were about 600 people who took part, of which 100 were called for the audition. Somehow, I made it to the final 16 (8 guys, 8 girls)! This is so exciting! I can't wait to join up with the other 15 finalists to take part in the grooming classes they have lined up for us in terms of make-up, presentation and catwalk!

The more I think about it, I just can't believe how I actually made it to the Finals. There were so many quality people there: there were doctors, lawyers, working mothers, couples who took part together, banking executives, future-CEO potential types.... It just blows the mind, really. I am just over the moon how I got in. Stay tuned to this channel... more details coming up.
