So I was reading about the awesome concerts at the F1 Grand Prix in the papers today... and the article on Muse somehow got me to listen to their hit 'Mercy' from 2015... I'm not a great fan of Muse; but I do like their songs 'Starlight' & 'Hysteria'...
After listening to 'Mercy' once; bang! the tune was stuck in my head the rest of the day... especially the catchy synthesiser arrangement. It got me humming along and was quite uplifting actually...
It's funny how I can listen to a song and suddenly the tune can be 'stuck' in your head all-day... sometimes for many days in a row even... quite nice I must say
Looking back, I can remember Kylie Minogue's 'In My Arms'; Sugababes' 'Denial' and Pet Shop Boys' 'I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind Of Thing' getting the same treatment; those with the super-catchy melodies & hooks. In fact, I once listened to The Pierces' 'It Will Not Be Forgotten' 13 times straight. Yes. 13 times.
