Houston, We Have No Problem

The Houston Rockets, long powered by superstar James Harden; have now added another mega-star in their ranks: the superlative, triple-double defying Russell Westbrook from Oklahoma City Thunder; to form what could well be the greatest back-court of all-time. We all remember Harden's often one-on-five exploits, when the Rockets would literally clear the entire floor for him to take on... he was that good. Some question marks about whether both will be willing to share the ball with each other... but I particularly think that as such great players, they should have no problem doing that...

But the Rockets are just one of a whole host of NBA contenders; as this promises to be the most exciting and wide-open seasons of all-time... the Golden State Warriors; so imperious for so long... are now finally looking not invincible... losing superstar Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets and key reserve Andre Iguodala to the Memphis Grizzlies. With Klay Thompson also out with a season-defining injury, the Warriors finally look like they can be beaten lol. But they did add All-Star D-Angelo Russell and with an in-form Stephen Curry and Draymond Green; they could still very well be contenders...

And how about the Los Angeles Clippers? My word they could very well be the NBA champions... I mean with the man-of-the-moment Kawhi Leonard joining forces with mega-star Paul George... the Clips have now got 2 of the best players in the world... similar to the Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen tandem for the Chicago Bulls all those years back

And it's going to be intriguing to see how the Los Angeles Lakers fare this time around... last season was disappointing as LeBron James couldn't single-handedly haul his team into the playoffs... this time around; it promises to be different with superstar center Anthony Davis joining ranks to seriously alter the balance... with veteran big man Dwight Howard back again; and with new additions in NBA champion Danny Green & three-point shooter Jared Dudley... Showtime could yet be round the corner again...

The New Orleans Pelicans should be another enticing prospect to watch... with heralded rookie Zion Williamson teaming up with newcomers Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart... and how about the Brooklyn Nets? With perhaps the best player in the world Kevin Durant joining them along with the sensational, human-highlight point-guard Kyrie Irving; they are certainly big contenders right now...

So there you have it... this ladies & gentlemen promises to be the BIGGEST season of all-time... and goodness knows we just can't wait.....
