In a rabid, intimidating atmosphere at the Ali Sami Yen stadium, Paris Saint Germain stood firm to come away with a priceless 1-0 away victory to lead the standings in Group A and reiterate their position as one of the favourites to win this year's Champions League.
Again without their vaunted front three of Neymar, Mbappe & Cavani; the PSG front-line of Mauro Icardi, Pablo Sarabia & Angel di Maria again proved too much for the opposition; with Sarabia this time providing assister for Icardi to score his first goal for his new club.
Try as they might; Galatasaray were unable to create enough to find an equaliser; and PSG produced a mature and composed performance to come away with the points; with their midfield trio of Marquinhos, Idrissa Gueye and Marco Verratti again outstanding with their reliability and quality.
