This was perhaps the best game the LA Clippers have played this season. Defensively; they were unbelievable - communicating seamlessly and using their vaunted physicality and length to stifle the high-flying Dallas Mavericks and their standout player Luka Doncic.
Doncic had a sub-par night; being frustrated on some of his drives and missing on his long shots. He even uncharacteristically lost his cool on a few occasions; frustrated at his inability to haul his team back into this one. On the contrary; the Clippers were firing on all cylinders offensively; with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Lou Williams coming up big.
In the end; this supposedly-close contest rather petered out onto one-way street; as the Clippers came up big with a statement win on the Mavericks' home court.
