In what could be a preview of the NBA Finals, the Milwaukee Bucks came up with a terrific performance to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 119-91. What promised to be a close contest kind of petered away as the fourth quarter approached; as the Bucks produced a stifling, all-consuming defence to smother the Clippers and inject some lethal sharp-shooting of their own to turn this into a blow-out.
When the dust had settled; it was the Clippers who were left to re-group after their recent stellar run; and the Bucks; boosted by their MVP-candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo and fellow All-Star Khris Middleton; used a balanced, all-round effort to gain a big statement win in front of a standing Fiserv Forum crowd.
