The latest K-Pop revelation sees Jihyo of girl-group Twice being affected by hate-mail and malicious online rumours; so much so that she seems to have 'great fear' performing in front of big crowds and is 'hiding' at air-ports here and there. This is the latest setback for the seemingly-glamorous K-Pop world after the Seungri scandal, reality contest rigging case and deaths of popular stars. Again this shows the double-edged sword that social media has - able to connect to a wider audience but also able to spread malicious hate-mail that can affect stars. Let's just hope she will remain strong and not end up same case as Sulli or Goo Hara.
