Perhaps not surprisingly; the next three highest earners are the three best football payers in the world; Cristiano Ronaldo; last year's winner Lionel Messi; and Neymar. Perhaps also unsurprisingly; there are 35 NBA players in the list (the most of any sport); but unfortunately only two women (Naomi Osaka & Serena Williams).
