The hi-jinks and 'assaults' by Fonda are all pretty 'believable' and lead Lopez into a tailspin of her own; until she threatens revenge and starts going on her own assault to save her relationship. There is decent acting on their part; especially from Fonda & Vartan; who plays the goody husband to terrific effect.
In the end; the crux point of the show is when Fonda & Lopez finally reconcile against all the odds in a telling & heartwarming moment; and it goes to show that no matter how bad a relationship can get; things can be mended when logic and understanding prevail. Decent fare indeed.
