Dirty Landry

In this potentially-mouth watering match-up between two of the conference's outstanding teams; the Los Angeles Clippers used a break-through 3rd quarter to establish a healthy advantage over the Miami Heat. And it was shooting guard Landry Shamet who effectively ended the contest with consecutive three-pointers late in the game; spearheading a phenomenal long-range Clipper effort that saw them establish franchise records in both makes and attempts (24/54) at a 44.4% clip. It was part of a shooting exhibition that saw both teams go crazy from down-town; but in the end; the home team's overall effort was too much for the Heat; who were stymied by Jimmy Butler's reduced minutes & production due to injury.
