One For The Ages

The Los Angeles Clippers & Boston Celtics played out a see-saw; thrill-a-minute double-overtime thriller at TD Garden; with the Celtics managing to come through 141-133 to even their season series at one apiece. In what could be a preview of the NBA Finals; both teams brought their best; and exchanged buckets; leads and momentum as the match swung from one way to the other.

In the end; there were big-time plays & showtime reels; as Lou Williams was seemingly fouled on a four-point play; only for it to be ruled non-shooting; before Landry Shamet stepped up to nail the real three and tie up the game at the end of the first overtime period. Jayson Tatum also came up big; using his size & length to full advantage to score in the clutch for Boston.

Lou Williams was in inspired form for the visitors; coming up with his trademark circus shots to pull the Clippers back into contention; while his bench-mate Montrezl Harrell had an unbelievable sequence where he went 5-5 from the field; 6-6 from the foul line; while also coming up with blocks and taking charges. He also delivered a smoke-inducing; round-house power-jam on rookie Grant Williams that we will never forget...
