Today's Straits Times featured an article on the ten greatest record-breaking videos of all-time; such as the latest Blackpink's '
How You Like That' and previous barn-stormers such as Luis Fonsi's '
Despacito'; Psy's '
Gangnam Style'; and BTS/Halsey's '
Boy With Luv'. That's all well and good; but to me; all that glitz; blinding lights and fake glamour cannot compare to a simple; well-thought out video such as JP Cooper's '
September Song'; that was so good it actually managed to make me cry. And that is something that none of the other videos managed to do.
