In a strange way; this year's NBA Playoffs may yet prove to be the closest and most exciting ever; with the Corona-enforced break and subsequent 'bubble effect' being the great leveler. With a rash of games in a short period and no home-court advantage in Orlando; any team could possibly win it; with pundits suggesting up to 8 teams having a legitimate chance of winning the NBA title.
Things become more interesting when you consider that the respective Conference leaders; Milwaukee Bucks & Los Angeles Lakers; both have pretty poor records since the restart; unable to find much form and cohesion. Where-else on the other hand; teams such as the Portland Trail Blazers; who only just squeezed in to the Playoffs after winning the 'in-game contest' with the Memphis Grizzlies; are on red-hot form; spurred by outstanding performances from star man Damian Lillard.
