With a raft of players absent & no fans due to the Corona-virus pandemic; this year's US Open promises to be a whole new experience. And it could pave the way for a surprise winner; now that the top players such as Rafael Nadal; Roger Federer & Stan Wawrinka on the men's side; and Ashleigh Barty; Simona Halep & Bianca Andreescu on the women's - have decided not to compete. Either ways; it s a much hyped-up return to tennis for the big-time and a fascinating tournament awaits us; as the US Open kicks off today at Flushing Meadows.
