It was indeed shocking that one of the greatest teams in the world could be guilty of such shambolic defending; as we saw when Kyle Walker; Eric Garcia & Benjamin Mendy clumsily & rather needlessly challenged Jamie Vardy (twice) & James Maddison to concede the spot-kicks.
All this after ex-Fox Riyad Mahrez had so emphatically given the home side the lead; blasting with his weaker right-foot into the top corner; after a corner had been partially cleared by James Justin. In between the penalty onslaught was another standout flick from Vardy that bamboozled the City defence; and a sumptuous long-range curler from substitute Maddison that wrapped up the icing on the cake.
Credit also to the Leicester midfield duo of Nampalys Mendy & Youri Tielemans; who were brilliant all-game with their fierce tackling and perceptive vision. Brendan Rodgers' men have really got their identity going and were able to match up to Man City as equals; with their counter-attacking game tearing the Man City defence to shreds.
