After all the hype; the long delays due to COVID-19; and the transition via Disney+ & all; the world finally got to watch the blockbuster epic Mulan; and generally; I must say the movie delivered.
Filled with stunning picturesque scenes and epic fight sequences; the movie traces the epic story of Hua Mulan & how she began as a hyper-active child; to volunteering to disguise as a man to represent her family; and ultimately as a hero for her country.
I like how the movie progresses along; especially the difficulties she had to conceal as a woman serving in an all-male environment; and her interesting relationship with Hong Hui; a fellow soldier she befriended early on in her stint.
At the end of the day; the movie teaches us how to be Brave; in standing up for what you believe in; Loyal in your dedication to your country; and True to your identity as the incomparable Warrior Princess.
