Project Runaway

The latest episode rocking the football world is the so-called 'Project Big Picture'; where the Big 6 of English Football; Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United & Tottenham Hotspur; will join forces with the other longevity clubs Everton, Southampton & West Ham United in a new structural arrangement that will re-shape quite drastically the shape of English football and how it will look like.

My view is that I love the Carabao Cup & Community Shield; so whatever you do don't remove that! Lol. Also; I've always liked the league as 20 teams and not 18 lah... 20 just sounds better u know? And the conjecture of the 16th-placed team playing the play-off with the 3rd-5th teams of the Championship will be so nervous it would cause heart palpitations so I'm not in favor of that too lol...

It just seems like a 'nice way' of consolidating power amongst the big clubs; with the financial windfall for the EFL clubs a perfect 'sugar-coated way' to see it through. Unfortunately; this party forgot that 9 doesn't equal 14; and perhaps to no-one's surprise; this plan wasn't approved at all by the Premier League. Perhaps not surprisingly as well; the EFL chief Rick Parry endorses it but not he government of England lol...
