Fans were all excited recently about the reunion of F4; the wildly popular Taiwanese boyband that came into prominence around the year 2000 & beyond. Meteor Garden was so popular back then; it formed a successful sequel and several adaptations in other countries as well; as F4-mania seemed to sweep the world. The popular theme song also helped advance their cause; a very nice tune if I may say so myself.
Unfortunately; 20 years on; I'm afraid age has taken its toll and they don't look so hot no more; especially Ken Chu; who looks really fat now lah. And the uproar was furthered when a supposed online concert turned into abit of a joke; with only Vanness Wu really appearing on stage live and the other three members actually 'teleported' there in hologram style. Wonder if it's their version of Virtual Reality lol.
Anyways; fans were unsurprisingly not too happy about it; probably not appreciating the silence and 'non-banter' between the members on stage; and feeling they were quite short-changed. I think Ken Chu has also come on record to say the four members are not really friends; just colleagues who seldom talk outside of work. Hmm....
