Touched By A Star

The recent review by an airline fight steward was quite interesting: she shared who were the most polite celebrities she had come across; such as Louis Koo; Shu Qi and Richie Jen. There were of course some who were far from polite; including one who tried to show off his English by rather hilariously saying 'I want to pass away' in an attempt to move past a passenger down the aisle.

On my personal experience with celebrities; I must say most have been very; and sometimes surprisingly; nice. I remember meeting Chen Xiuhuan & Hong Huifang when I was young; and both were really nice and friendly; especially Hong Huifang who looked rather tired at the airport but still bothered to chat & have a photo taken.

I met Ian Wright when he came for the Barclays event a few years back and he was really nice as well; even though he knew I was an Everton fan; and he even laughed when I asked "So who was better? Mark Bright or you?"

I had the chance to meet the Everton contingent as well; both over there and here; and they were all great as well. Graeme Sharp; Graham Stuart & Ian Snodin were really solid and made us feel so welcome when we went over to England. We also met some of the players such as John Stones; Joel Robles; Tim Howard and even Bobby Charlton as well. Of all; I think the friendliest was Joel Robles; he really made you feel welcome and was so friendly. When they came over; we also had the chance to joke with Seamus Coleman & Gerard Deulofeu on the latter's goal against Arsenal. And the best for me of course was meeting my favourite player Steven Pienaar; and saying to him 'You're my favourite player'; and just seeing his shy expression made me feel wonders.

Back on the home front; we had a chance to meet Tiffany up close & personal; and she was really friendly; greeting you with a big welcome and warm hug as well. I finally managed to say the line to her "All This Time I've been waiting"... lol

So... what is your brush with a celebrity?
