In an age of comebacks - such as Friends; Star Wars and even Cristiano Ronaldo; surely one takes the cake; the return of Swedish legends ABBA to the scene - some 40 years after they first disbanded. Now ABBA was famous even before I started listening to music; so for them to re-group now is errr... well really saying something.
After winning the EuroVision contest in 1973 with Waterloo (before I was born); they surged ahead to overwhelm the world with a plethora of sensational hits - such as Chiquititta; Money, Money, Money and of course Dancing Queen. Their unbridled charisma; coupled with their sensational song-writing; ensured they would be one of the greatest bands ever in world history.
They intend to set-up a virtual concert in London next year (a place they feel most at home); with their appropriately-named Abba-tars performing a greatest hits concert. Surely this tops it all.
