Dead Man Returning

In a move sure to sweeten the purists; former legend manager Claudio Ranieri has returned to the Premier League; this time to join Watford; who have done the first sacking of the season in Xisco Munoz; which was rather surprising given the relegation candidates were sitting in a rather-healthy 15th position.

Ranieri is of course the man to bring 'sweet melodies' to the Premiership. He first made his name at Chelsea during the romantic early Roman Abramovic days; when they looked ready to conquer the world. After a few epic seasons that led finally to the incomparable 'Dead Man Walking' title; Ranieri was eventually sacked in a sea of tears as Chelsea moved on to greater things.

Even more romanticism was to follow in 2015-16; when Ranieri rather inexplicably and some say profoundly managed to win the Premier League with unfancied Leicester City. It remains the single biggest accomplishment in the history of world sports. However after an unrecognisable next season; Ranieri was sacked once again; and it's fair to say his fortunes have ebbed and flowed via spells with Greece and a rather shaky return to Fulham in recent years.

So let's see where this new appointment at Watford takes us. Will he stun the world again with some 'Untinkable' moves & sweet charisma; or will this yet again be another poisoned chalice in the ever-revolving door of the Watford hotseat? Stay tuned.
