Hot In Herre

Paul George tried to cool himself down. He was not the only one who failed; as the superstar continued his spellbinding season with another superlative effort; pouring in 32 points to power the surging Los Angeles Clippers past the young & hungry Minnesota Timberwolves 126-115. His stellar night included a remarkable left-hand block on the driving Karl-Anthony Towns; an alley-oop pass to Ivica Zubac for the throw-down; and a remarkable double charge foul when he was got up & was knocked down instantly again. He simply did it all tonight.

In fact; he was not the only one; as the Clippers embarked on an extraordinary all-round team effort starring Nicolas Batum; Reggie Jackson & Terance Mann; as rhe Clippers overwhelmed the home team with some hot shooting & stifling defense. So far this season the Clippers have done well without truly being at their best. Well; they were at their best tonight.

All eyes were also on Patrick Beverley tonight; as the former Clipper favourite started for the T-Wolves against his old team. As expected; there were some feisty shenanigans between him & Paul George; but it must be said his abrasive style kind of played against his own team in the dying moments; as he turned the ball over a few times and made dubious calls that suited the opponents.

And the fun is not over yet; as these two teams will meet again next in a double-header. All in all; this could indeed be the match that ignites the Clippers' season. If the rest of the league is not afraid yet; it might be time for them to do so now.
